This year's theme was "It's the Reel Thing. " Floats and banners were based on famous movies. The first prize winner in the float contest was the Non-Traditional Students Organization with their "101 Daln1aLians" themed float. The Caribbean Students Organization won first prize in the banner competition. Later, at Coyer Field, the Bengals upset Brockport 13 -10 in a overtime thriller. Nick DePaola's 18-yard field goal gave the Bengals a come-from-behind homecoming game victory over ... the Eagles.
