November is Spike Appreciation Month!

Spikes are one of the most active and dedicated groups within the As- sociation. Their efforts in recruiting and retaining members are crucial to the Association’s vitality and help maintain a strong voice for the hous- ing industry. Member-to-member recruitment is the most effective way to grow any organization, and the Dallas BA Spikes have fully embraced this approach. The Dallas BA has some of the highest ranking Spikes in the nation. Leading the pack is Past President T.W. Bailey Sr. with Bailey Family Builders, who has accomplished a feat that no one else in the Associa- tion has done. He has surpassed the 2,100-Spike level of new member recruitment and is the highest ranked Spike in the State of Texas and one of the highest ranked in the nation, com- ing in at No. 15. The National Association of Home Builders recognizes and re- wards peer-to-peer recruiting through the Spike Club. Members of the Spike Club receive several benefits and rec - ognition throughout the year. Qualifying members receive national recognition on the Spike Wall of Fame and Top 100 leaderboards. Additionally, the NAHB Spike Club includes unique lapel pins for each level of achievement.

These Spike Club levels range from Spike Candidate (1-5.5 credits) to Life Spike (25 credits) to Royal Spike (150 credits) all the way up to All-Time Big Spike (1500+ credits). The Association’s Top Spikes are:
