You make new friends, camp under the stars at Chaco Canyon, hike to Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde National Park, and float down the Green River to see unparalleled rock imagery. You participate in mindful forest foraging and food preparation inspired by Native cuisine, explore the rugged Bears Ears backcountry, visit tribal communities, and you learn how Ancestral Pueblo people crafted exquisite turkey feather blankets. Crow Canyon’s Discover Archaeology Webinar Series has attracted and inspired so many of you to learn about North American Clovis sites, Pueblo identity, early maize production and ancestral farming practices, Native American flutes, zooarchaeological research, corrugated cooking pots, lithic analyses, a woman’s role in Hopi society, and so much more.
