The She Gees
Oct. 5: The She Gees On Oct. 5 at the Marin Center Showcase Theatre, 20 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael, the female- fronted Bee Gees cover band, the She Gees, will have audiences dancing and singing along to familiar classics. From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. reminisce with covers of hit songs like “Stayin’ Alive” and “How Deep is Your Love.” Tickets start at $51 and can be purchased on tickets. marincenter.org .
Oct. 17: Supermoon Experience Join park rangers on Oct. 17 from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. and gaze in awe as the full moon rises above Ring Mountain. With a distance of .25 miles and an elevation gain of 150 feet, attendees are in for a brisk walk. It is recommended that participants dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. For the hike up Ridge Mountain Preserve, participants will meet at 6:15 p.m. at the gate at the end of Taylor Road in Tiburon. Register at marincounty.gov to secure your chance to see the supermoon rise.

Oct. 19: 3rd Annual Kelly Brush Ride: Bay Area Hitting its 3rd year, the Kelly Brush Ride raises money for the Kelly Brush Foundation which empowers people with spinal cord injuries to lead active and engaged lives. There are routes for everyone in the family, ranging from easy rides to ones with increased difficulty for mountain bikers and road cyclists alike. After the rides, indulge in local food and drink in the heart of Mill Valley. Ride all around Marin County with a 7-, 21- or 49-mile route. Mountain bike trails have a 17- and 24-mile option. On Oct. 27 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. join open space rangers for a spooky evening filled with Halloween activities. Your little ones can look forward to an animal showcase presented by East Bay Vivarium. Afterward, get ready for chills down your spine with an interactive graveyard show with a cast of ghostly characters. Attendees will meet at the Marin County Parks Lucas Valley Field Office, 18 Jeannette Prandi Way in San Rafael. For more information visit marincounty.gov .
