Sept. 28: Movies on the Green GMC This autumn, take the family for a movie on the green. On Sept. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. head to the Green Music Center at Sonoma State, 1801 E. Cotati Ave. in Rohnert Park, to watch the movie IF . The new summer blockbuster, directed by John Krasinski, follows the journey of a girl who can see everyone’s imaginary friends. Make sure to bring your blankets, lawn chairs and favorite snacks—Mountain Mike's and Swirl Time will be available for purchase. Tickets are $5, students and children 12 and under are free, for more information visit gmc.sononoma.edu .

Oct. 12: Sonoma County Harvest Fair Presents: Taste, Toast & Celebrate! Kick off harvest season at the Sonoma County Harvest Fair on Oct. 12. Indulge in local award-winning wines along with delicious bites from Sonoma County’s finest. From 6 to 9 p.m. in the Grace Pavilion at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa, attendees will be the first to learn which three wineries came out on top in the Sweepstakes Wines. As well as sampling winning culinary creations from the Professional Food Competition. Tickets are $80, including parking. For more information visit harvestfair.org .

Oct. 19: Ronny Chieng: The Love To Hate Tour Head to the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa, on Oct. 19 to see stand- up comedian Ronny Chieng bring down the house. Chieng is not only a comedian but also an actor and correspondent mainstream films like: Crazy Rich Asians , Marvel’s Shang- Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and M3GAN (to name a few). Doors open at 7 p.m., on The Daily Show. You may recognize him from tickets starting at $46.61, for more information visit lutherburbankcenter.org .

Oct. 26: The Official Halloween Bar Crawl

Break out your best costume and commemorate Halloween with a bar crawl! Starting at Beer Baron Bar & Kitchen, 614 Fourth St., at 4 p.m. attendees will hop around the best bars Santa Rosa has to offer. With 5-plus venues still to be announced, Santa Rosa is in for a scary good time. Tickets start at $13 and included in the price are two to three free items and no cover charge for any of the bars as well as the location for the mid and after party.
