HEALTH & WELLNESS WORKSHOP STARS UNDER THE STARS: FALL EDITION All ages welcome! Wednesday, September 10, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Civic Center Arena FREE Helen Wu, 334-615-3778, hwu@dothan.org Dothan Leisure Services’ 21 Annual Health & Wellness Workshop is a full day of health education offered through speakers, vendors, demonstrations, free health screenings, and one-on-one “Ask the Expert Sessions”. In addition to offering health education to the Wiregrass Area, this event is used to raise funds for the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center, an organization that provides community- based and accessible support services for the citizens of Dothan and Houston County. st A free lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the first 100 participants will receive a free coffee ticket. Ages: Dates: Location: Fee: Coordinator: The much loved “Stars under the Stars: Family Movie Night” series is back and ready to bring an evening of family fun to the community. The venue will open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is completely FREE, and popcorn is included, making it a fun and affordable evening for the whole family. In addition to the free popcorn, there will be other paid offerings available, including drinks for $1 and candy for $2. All proceeds from these sales will benefit Beyond the Bell, the afterschool program for Leisure Services. Big dogs get the wave pool, shy or little pups get the Kids Cove! Join us for pup cups, a photo area, and vendors galore!
