EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MEET KELSEY CALSYN!

Kelsey started working in our sales department just over a year ago, but she soon realized her true calling was on the printing room floor. With her background in customer service, the position in sales made sense, but sometimes logic and passion don’t line up! Kelsey worked as a hairdresser on the side at the time, so when a job doing embroidery opened up at Lynnpro, she thought, “Why not?” and made the switch. “I gave it a try, and it worked out,” she says. “It’s nice being able to physically make things. It’s really fun. I just never thought this would be something I would end up doing; I never considered it, and I love it!” Today, Kelsey runs our embroidery and sublimation departments, and every stitch that leaves our facility passes under her careful eye. Aside from the satisfaction of making something

brand new, Kelsey says her favorite part of her job is seeing her coworkers every day.

“We are a giant family,” she says. “Everybody looks out for everybody; everybody tries to help as much as they can, whenever they can.” When she isn’t busy stitching and supervising, Kelsey and her husband Mark spend their time shuttling their two boys (9-year-old Brayden and 7-year-old Bentley) to practices for their various sports. Kelsey’s also the mom to two cats and a Shiba Inu pup named Hiro, who runs with her or curls up beside her while she reads a book. In her time on our team, Kelsey has brought our work to an even higher standard, and we’re beyond grateful to have her on board. Kelsey, thank you for all you do!

Thanksgiving may be held on Thursday, but the food often lasts at least through the weekend. To make the best use of the excess, grill up some killer turkey sandwiches.

• 2 slices sourdough bread • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard • 2 slices Swiss cheese INGREDIENTS

• 1/3 cup leftover dressing or stuffing • 2 tbsp leftover gravy • 1 tbsp butter, room temperature

• 1/3 cup shredded leftover turkey • 3 tbsp leftover cranberry sauce

Note: Don’t worry if you don’t have all the leftovers required.

1. Coat inside of each bread slice with mustard and a slice of cheese. Place turkey and cranberry sauce on one slice and dressing and gravy on the other. 2. Combine sandwich and spread butter on both sides. 3. In a panini maker or large skillet, grill until crispy and golden brown. 4. Slice and serve. DIRECTIONS
