CWGO: Career Women’s Golf Organization
The Career Women’s Golf Organization’s 2024 season is winding up, with weekday and weekend play ending at the end of October. We are excited to report the results of some of our recent events! Importantly, the CWGO held its Working Women’s Offsite – Fall Outing (the “WWOFO”) in October in beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia. After two days of fun group and individual play, the new WWOFO “Queen,” Liz Kretovic, was pronounced, taking over the reins from Tina Gwilliam. Thank you to Tina and her Court for organizing such a memorable and fun weekend for us all. Our new Queen Liz is responsible for organizing WWOFO 2025 and for encouraging general merriment amongst our ranks for the next year. Long live the Queen! The CWGO also recently held its MJ Major Tournament at Fairfax. Congrats to gross winner Tina Gwilliam and net winner Barbara Lancaster. We are also pleased to report that our CWGO Interclub team came in third place in its division. We thank our CWGO Interclub co-captains, Gwen House and Michelle Go-Lai for their leadership, and congratulate all of the CWGO Interclub members on a successful season!
