Nov. 16: Beach Whiffle Ball This isn’t your average beach day! Make sure to bundle up and take your little ones to Upton Beach in Stinson on Nov. 16 for some fall ball— appropriate for ages 7 to 12. Beach whiffle ball will last from noon to 2 p.m. Whiffle balls, bats and snacks will be provided by park rangers, 187 Calle del Arroyo in Stinson Beach. Registration is required at marincounty.gov.

Oct. 25: Family Movie Night Halloween is right around the corner, join Stafford Lake park rangers and commemorate the spooky season with a screening of The Haunted Mansion (2023). From 7:30 to 10 p.m. bring the whole family and dine on s’mores, popcorn and a warm cup of hot chocolate—provided by park rangers—at 3549 Novato Blvd. Be sure to bring your own blankets and chairs. This event is free, but registration is required at marincounty.gov.

Oct. 31: Pride and Joy’s Annual Halloween Bash Looking to get into the Halloween groove? Check out Pride & Joy performing on Oct. 31 at the Marin Center Showcase Theatre, 20 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael. Attendees will be leaping out of their seats to dance to this electrifying pop/soul music. From 7 to 11 p.m. dance the Halloween night away. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at tickets. marincenter.org.

Oct. 26: Jeepers Jack-O- Lanterns It’s time to pumpkin carve with the whole family. Paradise Beach park rangers, 3450 Paradise Drive in Tiburon, will host a Jack-O- Lantern party! This event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and pumpkins will be provided as supplies last; attendees are also encouraged to bring their own. All other materials will be provided by rangers. Registration is required at marincounty.gov.
