Nov. 1: Epicenter’s Halloween Bash
Oct. 31: Trick or Treat Trail Calling all ghouls, ghosts and goblins! Downtown Petaluma’s Trick or Treat trail offers families a safe space to take their kiddos out on Halloween. Various downtown merchants on Kentucky Street, Fourth Street, Western Avenue, Petaluma Boulevard, Second Street, C Street, Theater Square and the River Plaza Shopping Center will be handing out candy by the handful—over 75 businesses are participating. After Oct. 24 there will be a pumpkin trail map available to download to see the participating merchants. For more information visit petalumadowntown.com/trick- or-treat-trail.
Oct. 26: Halloween Carnival Día De Los Muertos Celebration Commemorate Día De los Muertos, a celebration of departed loved ones, at the Rohnert Park Community Center, 5401 Snyder Lane, on Oct. 26. In partnership with the Latino Alliance, community ofrendas (alters) will be on display. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. with performances by Aztec Dancers and Ballet Folklorico. The entertainment does not stop there, attendees can also look forward to a magic show, carnival games, various food vendors and more. There is also a candy incentive for showing up in a costume. Nov. 9-10: Holiday Magnum Merriment Tasting It’s the holiday season and what’s a better way to celebrate than drinking wine? Dutton-Goldfield Winery, 3100 Gravenstein Highway in Sebastopol, is hosting a special tasting of its library magnums from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 10. Featuring a 2017 vintage from Dutton-Goldfield’s favorite vineyards. Tickets are $65 per person and waived with a magnum or three- bottle purchase; this event is complimentary for members. Poppy Bank Epicenter, 3215 Coffey Lane in Santa Rosa, is hosting its fourth annual Halloween Bash on Nov. 1 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Dance the night away at the dance floor of your choice. With three to choose from, each room offers a different sound—DJ Skywidit with the top hits, DJ Famous Amos with the hottest Latin tracks and DJ Willie with Latin house music. Doors open at 9 p.m. With costumes, arcade games, bowling, beer pong and multiple bars, this 21-and-over Halloween Bash may just be scary good. Presale tickets are $25.
