The Computer Repair program is a high-level, intensive one year course that prepares students with entry-level IT skills focusing on computer maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. The course is delivered through the CompTIA approved TestOut Curriculum. Instruction is provided for computer hardware, operat- ing systems and peripherals, networking essentials, mobile devices, basic test equipment, diagnostic meth- ods, and electronic fundamentals necessary to understand and service basic computer systems.
Course : One year PM ONLY 11:45 AM - 2:45 PM
Internship : During second semester eligible students may have an opportunity to be placed in an internship (on-the-job training) at local businesses.
Location : CTEC High School Credits Available : 15 credits per semester (10 elective credits and 5 math credits) A-G approved course : Meets area “G” approval for UC admissions
