Brief Description : Do you have a passion for fashion? Do you enjoy mixing and matching fabrics and accessories to design unique and intriguing looks? Working in the creative and fast-paced world of fashion is a career for those who love to be creative. In the Fashion Merchandising program students will learn technical and fashion drawing, event and fashion show production, trends and concepts in apparel, concept development, color theory, fashion history, principles and elements of design, and basics of display.
College Credits Available : In conjunction with Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising • Color & Design Theory GNST 1230 - 3 Units • History of Costume GNST 1170 - 3 Units
Course : One year AM ONLY 7:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Location : ROC
High School Credits Available : 15 credits per semester (10 elective and 5 math) A-G approved course : Meets area “F” approval for UC & CSU admissions
