Brief Description : The Ag/Diesel Mechanics program focuses on inspection, repair, maintenance, and operation of diesel engines in heavy equipment. In this program students will completely rebuild a small Honda gas engine as well as a John Deere diesel engine. Students will learn inspection procedures, skills to diagnose vehicle malfunctions, skills to read and interpret diagnostic test results, and repair techniques to replace malfunctioning components of mechanical or electrical equipment. Course : One year

Internship : During second semester eligible students have an opportunity to be placed in an internship (on-the job training) at local businesses. Students must have their own transportation to internship site.
