Extend the lifetime of your rollers using ECODRIVE Bearings

Agricultural applications are characterized by excessive exposure to dust, sand and water. Contamination of bearings, cause bearings to seize. Bearings are usually filled with 20 to 30% grease, in order to allow higher running speed. Support rollers for conveyor belts, typically run at less then 30% of the possible running speeds: for this reason, more grease filling will not limit the functioning of the bearing, whilst offering a better protection against contamination. Bearings are closed with a seal: in order to improve the seal, Broekema has developed a triple seal, that will hold some of the excessive grease, that will be pushed out of the bearing: sand, dust and water will have to pass more barriers before landing into the interior of the bearing. Seizing bearings are the cause of >80% of failure with support rollers.

The ECODRIVE bearing has 80% grease filling, as opposed to 30% and a triple seal to hold excessive grease and thus creating additional barriers for dirt and water to enter the bearing.
