Séguin relate qu’il y avait à peu près 800 voitures en exposition, dont 551 qui étaient inscrites dans le concours. Eugène Timbers, de Hawkesbury, était parmi les exposants. « C’est une beauté », a-t-il dit fièrement alors qu’il polissait soi- gneusement son trésor, un Cougar 1991. « Le monde aime les voitures comme celles là parce qu’elles sont vraiment belles et qu‘il y en a plus de voitures comme ça ». M. Séguin a souligné la collaboration des membres de la Commission de la zone d’amélioration commerciale du centre-ville. Plusieurs ont ouvert leur commerce durant l’expo. Au cours de la journée, trois groupes mu- sicaux, Out Of The Blues, The Lefties et The Country Gentlemen, ont monté sur scène.

William (Bill) Mott, from Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the age of 64. He was the beloved husband of the late Maureen Mott (nee Sauvé); the loving partner of Francine Collins; the son of the late Bazil Mott and of Georgina Mott (nee MacIntyre); the cherished father of Bradley (Sarah Brazeau) and Crystal (Leslie Hatz); the loving stepfather of Marc-André and Pierre-Luc; the adored grandfather of Taylor, Ryder, Nathan and Ella; the dear brother of Debbie (Reid MacTavish) and Terry (Brenda). He was predeceased by a brother Delbert (Marion). He is survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
