Members of the 832 Twillick Air Cadet Squadron of Clarence-Rockland had two special guests of honour giving them the close eye during this year’s annual inspec- tion parade. Brigadier-General Kelly L. Woiden and Marc Lacroix, president of the regional air cadets branch: East Region, both attended at the May 28 ceremony in the Jean-Marc Lalonde Arena in Rockland. Receiving this year’s honours as part of the ceremony were LAC Justin Boileau for Best Cadet of the Year, Cpl. Alysha Desro- chers for Best Corporal, FCpl. Alexandre Charbonneau for Best Flight Corporal, FSgt. Hugo Lamarche for Best Flight Sergeant, FSgt. Michael Csontos for the Commanding Officer’s Trophy, Sgt. Shannon Brandreth for Top Band Member, FSgt. David-John McMillan for Top Instructor, Sgt. Adrianna Lacelle for Air Cadet Spirit, and FSgt. Tyler Cooper for Best Non-Commissioned Officer. This year’s special honours awards went to Warrant Officer 2 Cedric Laniel for the Royal Canadian LegionMedal of Excellence and to WO1 Max Burke for the Strathcona Medal. This year’s Duke of Edinburgh Youth Award: Bronze Level was shared by two cadets, Sgt. Alexandre Dellisse and Sgt. Alexander Schonert.
