Then you may have what it takes to be a City of Irvine Lifeguard. Lifeguard training will be provided free of charge to applicants who successfully complete the interview process and a pre- requisite skills test. Apply at cityofirvine.org/jobs . H2O: Dive Springboard Diving

Diving is one of the most popular Olympic sports, requiring similar skills to that of a gymnast: strength, flexibility, judg- ment, and air awareness. Learn the proper diving techniques off 1- and 3-meter diving boards. Ages 7–13. F April 4–April 25 4:30pm–5:10pm WAC $42 #118960 F May 2–May 16 4:30pm–5:10pm WAC $42 #118963 Water Aerobics Tone without stressing the back or knees. Fee $7 per visit; $5 when reserving online. Pick from single dates or a package of dates. Reservations open on the third Sunday of each month for the following month at 6 p.m. for Irvine residents and 9 p.m. for nonresidents.
