My Work as Our New Patient Coordinator

I’m lucky in that so much of my job is genuinely listening to people completely without judgment. There are two promises I always give to each new patient I see: First, I promise that we will come up with a treatment plan that will fully meet their needs in the best way possible. And second, we will give them hope again. Too many people avoid the dentist to the point where they won’t even smile anymore. They live with shame and embarrassment for fear of being judged. as a traditional dental hygienist, I was very
excited to transition into a new position that goes beyond cleaning teeth and lets me connect with patients. Instead of hurrying new patients through the process, I allocate a lot of time to really sit down with them to learn their story, their expectations, and their needs. It’s a totally unique position in
confidence and make them love their smile again for the first time in years. It is truly an honor to meet each and every new patient that walks through our doors at Jones Smiles.
