Sales associate Max Levinston arranges exclusive sale of 21,000 s/f Kislak sells Central New Jersey commercial properties for $2 Million

nounced the recent sale of the fol- lowing three commercial properties in central New Jersey: • Friendly Self Storage, a 15,000 s/f W

• a 3,000 s/f office building at 38 North Gaston Avenue in Somerville, Somerset County, for $480,000, and; • a 3,045 s/f corner retail building at 345 North Main Street in Manville, Somerset County, for $468,000. Kislak marketed the proper- ties on an exclusive basis with sales associate Max Levinston managing the assignments, and he procured the purchaser for each property. The parties were not disclosed. Levinston commented, “The demand for commercial real estate investment properties

in central New Jersey has been astounding.” Friendly Self Storage is a 72-unit self- storage facility that was built in 1947 in 0.44 acre and reno- vated in 1997. It is ideally located on heavily trafficked Lincoln Boulevard within one mile of more than 375 apartments. Levinston added, “The seller sold the property after owning and managing it for more than 20 years in a market with an extremely high demand for self-storage investments. Our marketing process resulted in over a doz- en offers from local, regional, and national investors.” Built in 1989, the Somerville office building is a two-story professional building on 0.29 acre and includes seven private offices, kitchenette areas on each floor, a full basement for tenant storage, and parking for 14 cars. The property was sold vacant. Built in 1900 and renovated in 2007, the Manville retail property is a single-story build- ing at the lighted intersection of North Main Street and Dukes Parkway East approximately two miles from Route 22 with easy access to Route 206 and Interstate 287. The property was previously a Verizon store, and it was also sold vacant. Max Levinston joined Kislak in 2019 and specializes in the sale of investment and commer- cial properties in central New Jersey. In 2022, he received Kislak’s Rising Star award for his 2021 accomplishments. The award is presented to a newer salesperson who recorded the greatest achievements during the past year.
