Gather watercolor paint set, watercolor paper, a round brush, a water container, paper towel, gold or yellow paper, scissors, and glue stick.
Gold leaf is a sheet of real gold that is pounded very thin like a leaf. It is too fragile to work with easily, but you can still make a picture with gold in it. Use gold paper or yellow construction paper.
Think of a picture with gold objects in it or give your picture a gold background. Cut the gold paper into shapes and glue the shapes to watercolor paper.
Apply color to thewatercolor paper. Paint around the gold objects. Try to keep water away from the gold paper.
