4.4.2 Stop Test Control During a test run, you may stop the run by selecting the Start/Stop push button or the STOP TEST target on the Controller view. When a test run is stopped, it completes the run. You cannot resume a stopped test . NOTE Pressing the Stop function ends the current test run.
4.4.3 Pause Test Control When an extensometer is specified in your Sample Definition step, you have the ability to “pause” a test run. This “pause” allows you to remove the extensometer from the sample prior to a break in order to protect the extensometer from damage. Pressing the STOP TEST target or the Start/Stop button will “pause” the test run. To re-start the test run, press the PLAY target on the STOP target or press the Start/ Stop push button on your test frame.
NOTE A stopped test run cannot be resumed.
