4.6.4 Using Prompt On Run The Prompt On Run option allows you to revise your sample’s dimensions prior to the Start of a test run. This can be used if your samples for your batch do not have a uniform dimension. When there are variations to your sample’s dimensions, use the Prompt on Run = Yes. A dialog will display when you press START TEST allowing your to measure your individual sample and adjust its dimension. NOTE
Connect your micrometer via USB to your L3 System and your measurement can automatically populate the active sample dimension field.
When Prompt On Run=Yes, you can edit your sample’s dimensions prior to each test run.
