The instructor shall:
Introduce and explain the purpose, function and interaction of work control processes for a SSOW in HV operations including:
a. switching schedules / instructions / plans / protocols
b.
toolbox talks / pre task brief
c.
the work party register
d.
working under safety documents
e.
permission to work
f. intervention / STOP work / Critical to Quality (CTQ) points
g.
emergency planning and ERPs
h. notifying the person in charge of any unexpected conditions
i. controlled process for clearance to return to service
j. notifying of safe condition for reenergising / return to service
Ask open-ended questions of participants ensuring a common understanding of the control process and documentation.
The participants shall:
Engage in a group discussion on control for working under a SSOW in a HV work environment
Compare and contrast with their past experiences of working in LV work environments.
