Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday, June 25, 2015, with family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Marc Fortier and Marguerite Cardinal. Loving husband of Anne-Marie (née St Onge). Beloved father to Louise Leduc (Michel Frenette) and Robert Leduc (Isabelle Ethier). Proud grand-father to Laurie, Zachary, Alexandra and Matthieu. Cherished brother to Nicole Fortier Grenon. He also leaves many nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A memorial service will be held in his honour on Saturday, July 4, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at Bilberry Creek Baptist Church (480 Charlemagne Boulevard, Orleans ON K4A 1S2). The family will be receiving friends starting at 10:30a.m. A light lunch will be provided. In memory of Marc, donations to Bilberry Creek Baptist Church would be appreciated. Malgré le vide que tu as laissé, tu sais nous réconforter en veillant sur nous, en nous protégeant, en nous guidant et en nous donnant des signes réconfortants de ta présence dans nos vies. Merci pour la personne incroyable que tu as été et demeure toujours dans nos cœurs. Nos pensées et prières se tournent continuellement vers toi remplies d’amour. Si nos larmes pouvaient former un escalier et nos souvenirs un chemin, je marcherais jusqu’au paradis et te ramènerais avec moi.
