This becomes even more important as people age and priorities shift from working full- time and raising families to having more spare time on their hands.

Whether it's dancing, singing, or simply chatting over a cup of coffee, there's a real sense of belonging here,” says Helen, who has been many times this year. “I just love coming to the Seniors Jamboree. The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc recognizes the impor- tance of staying active, and with a growing population of people over 55 years old with diverse interests and abilities, they pro- vide several recreational programs to help people stay engaged, active and socializing with like-minded folks.
