OSBA: Celebrating Success & Community in 2024! by Ian Sterling Leishman , President, Old South Business Association
The Old South Business Asso- ciation (OSBA) is having a great start to 2024. Our mandate of expanding collaborative efforts between businesses, residents and local organizations to bet- ter the community, support one another and drive local improve- ments is going strong. Our monthly member’s meetings
are open to anyone conducting business in Old South London, and quarterly, we hold Business Mixers with a free first drink and hors d’oeuvres at different Old South bars / restaurants. The next OSBA Business Mixer will be held at the Old South Pub on Thursday, June 13th 4:30 pm to 6 pm. Although geared towards our members, we warmly welcome non-member guests to join us by RSVP through our website at www.OldSouthBA.com. We are excited about our pending federal grant for beautification of the Wortley Village business district. This project includes illuminating architectural treasures and installing 18 large flower- filled planter boxes, enhancing our streetscape from 2024 to 2029. With love for Old South London, the best neighbourhood, in the best city, in the best province, in the best country in the world! Photo is of the recent Business Mixer held at Mori.
