3.4.2.3 Offset Yield Point The Offset Yield point is displayed when you have a Stress-Strain graph. It is not displayed for a Load-Distance graph. The Offset Yield Point uses the slope you have specified on your graph. The slope must be determined first before you can specify a point using the Offset Yield algorithm. NOTE Find the elastic modulus first using the Slope tool, before measuring using the Offset Yield point. NOTE The Offset Yield point is available on Stress-Strain graphs only.
