Day 15: Milford Sound Journey along alpine roads to stunning Milford Sound. Day 16: Queenstown Day 17: Wanaka Taste Gibbston Valley Winery’s finest Pinot Noir near the scenic shores of Lake Wanaka. Day 18: Franz Josef Embark on a river safari down the Haast River to Roaring Billy Falls. Day 19: Arthur’s Pass - Christchurch Board the TranzAlpine train and travel through gorges and river valleys. Day 20: Akaroa A day trip to Akaroa including a cruise through an extinct volcano crater. Day 21: Christchurch - Rotorua Day 22: Rotorua Experience the Whakarewarewa Thermal Village and enjoy a traditional ‘hangi’ feast accompanied by song and dance in Tamaki Māori Village. Day 23-24: Auckland A tour of Auckland, the ‘Queen City’, formed on the ridges of volcanic lava flows. Day 25-26: Fly back to the UK Our odyssey almost at an end.
