Central South Magazine - June.pdf

A word or two from the Editor

Welcome to the latest edition of our quarterly news round-up.

We’ve got plenty to share including a round-up of all the activity at @UKREiiF, the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum held in Leeds. The Central South was well represented by both the public and private sector – and the feedback has been glowing from those who made the journey to represent the region. We were keen to hear from one of the Central South delegation and Simon Gill from @Arup kindly offered to share his thoughts. Check out the In My View column. As our activity as an organisation grows and we seek to be heard on a national stage, it has become more important than ever for Business South to ensure our messaging is clear and effective. By drawing on the Champion network, we have gathered together public affairs leads from some of the leading businesses and organisations in the Central South to help us. Steve Jolly from Marengo Communications is chairing the group and in this edition, he outlines what the group will be doing. Our aim when we set-up this quarterly review was to share more of your news. We already feature this on our website and wanted to make the most of this resource in the pages of the quarterly review.

Gentle reminder – if you have news to share with us, please contact natalie@businesssouth.org
