People South hosted its first mock tribunal event in partnership with 3PB Barristers, ViewHR, and Bond Williams. A great success, the event provided valuable insights into employment tribunal procedures.
Next meetings will be on 29th July, 24th September, and 26th November at 11am on Teams.
Action Group Chair, Gavin Hall is steering a ‘Vision Document’ focusing on seven key themes: Energy, Skills, Transport, Economic Development, Housing, Health & Wellbeing, and the Natural Environment. The next meeting is schedulled for 27 August. th Regenerate South The Housing Action Group has been tackling key worker housing challenges, supported by data from the NHS Hampshire & Isle of Wight ICB. The group continues to influence policy through the Central South APPG. Key worker housing will be high on the agenda when business leaders meet with regional MPs for the APPG for the Central South meeting on 16th July. Housing Group
Energy & Utilities
Celebrating one-year as an Action Group, the Energy & Utilities AG is working on two strategy papers: one on Water, led by Shaun Stevens, and one on Energy, led by Sam Clough. The next meeting is scheduled for 16 September. th Sustainable South
Sustainable South welcomes Rich Knight as the new Co-Chair of the Action Group. Alongside Co-Chair Dan Walster the group will develop a manifesto to streamline and focus objectives. The next meeting will take place on 23rd July in the South Downs National Park, and be a ‘weeting’ (walking meeting).
