1. First locate your customers order by either searching by the customers order number, or postcode. 2. Open the order. 3. Check the order to see if the customer has any extended guarantee and when the delivery date was. Remember if the customer is reporting faulty goods and the order is within 1 year, Dreams would resolve this, NOT MB&G.
4. As you can see from the image above, this customer order was delivered in 2015 and they have Bedcover on order. If you look at the order, they’ve ordered a Vienna Double Ottoman, as well as a Franklin Double Mattress, however there is only one Bedcover service plan on order. If you’re unsure what item the Bedcover is applied to, if you look at the “Warranty Item No” column as highlighted above, it will supply the SKU code / Product code. By looking in this column, I can see the Bedcover service plan is covered to product: 261:00086 which I can see is the Ottomans product code. 5. Once you’ve checked the order as above and confirmed the customer has Bedcover, you can leave your notes on VCS. 6. Head to VCS and start a new log line. 7. Select Defective (what type of product it is). 8. Not applicable / No Fault for Fault. 9. What the fault is. 10.Detailed VCS notes to be left.
