The Franklin Township Police Department is comprised of four handlers and their partners. Corporal Michael Guzman is teamed up with K9 Rozo who is a seven-year-old Belgian Malinois, Corporal Nicholas Locilento is teamed up with K9 Teli who is a six-year old Dutch Shepard, and Corporal Gallo is teamed up with K9 Zeus who is a four-year-old German Shepard. The newest member of the K9 Unit includes Officer Greg Halikman and his K9 partner Sader. Officer Halikman and Sader recently graduated after 14 weeks of intense training at the Philadelphia Police Department K9 Academy. The partners are now certified in Patrol and will attend additional training in 2025 to be certified in narcotics detection. After being promoted to the rank of Sergeant in December; K9 Officer Josh Fennimore retired his partner, Lee. K9 Lee was responsible for over 170 deployments in his career ranging from narcotics investigations to locating wanted and missing persons. K9 Lee will be missed by the Franklin Township Police Department and will be known as a hard-working partner to Sgt. Fennimore.
