Our Story East Texas Grain & Knot was founded in 2016 by Kaci and Kyle McKeever with a simple but meaningful goal, to build something of our own. What began as a leap of faith quickly became a shared calling. Kyle stepped away from his job to launch the business, and Kaci later left her career in education to help grow it. As wood prices rose, we invested in a sawmill and dry kiln, allowing us to mill and dry our own lumber in-house. Today, we not only create custom pieces but also process personal trees into ready-to-use lumber for homeowners and other builders. Rooted in faith, family, and craftsmanship, we remain committed to producing quality wood products built to last.
