Command Maximum Performance out of your Herbicides!

For optimum efficacy, spray herbicide solutions immediately after mixing. Be aware that allowing solutions to set out overnight and/or in direct sunlight may cause a decrease in efficacy. Optimal pH for most post-emergent herbicides is 6.5. Although some herbicides are more sensitive to higher pH’s than others, higher pH’s can sometimes cause dissolution of the product, which results in decreased efficacy. Always check the pH of the herbicide solution to ensure best results. Products like Harrell’s Herbicide activator, Harrel’s pH Buffer, Harrell’s Nonionic Penetrant Plus, and Harrell’s Methylated Seed Oil can not only help buffer the pH of the herbicide solution, but they can also help to reduce foaming of the product solution while mixing and spraying, as well as assist in herbicide uptake for maximum efficacy and results.

Harrell’s Herbicide Activator Herbicide Activator is a highly active ammonium sulfate solution designed to modify solution pH and water hardness. The ammoniacal nitrogen in Herbicide Activator has been found to promote herbicide (such as glyphosate) uptake in agricultural applications. Herbicide Activator’s use of high-quality, spray-grade ammonium sulfate eliminates cold-water sedimentation and nozzle plugging commonly found with dry AMS. Herbicide Activator also contains a pH-stable antifoam which prevents foaming during tank mixing. Harrell’s pH Buffer Harrell’s pH Buffer is a water conditioning agent which promotes herbicide performance by modifying elements such as pH and hardness of the spray water. Hard water and high pH can minimize the effectiveness of certain pesticides. pH Buffer positively affects herbicide spray applications.

Harrell’s Nonionic Penetrant Plus Nonionic Penetrant Plus is a low-foaming, nonionic penetrant surfactant designed to be used with plant protectants. Nonionic Penetrant Plus is formulated with a drift- control component to minimize undesirable drift during application of plant protectants. Nonionic Penetrant Plus can be used with most insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, defoliants and desiccants to provide one uniform distribution and better wetting of the plant surface. Harrell’s Methylated Seed Oil Methylated Seed Oil is for use with a broad range of post-emergent herbicides as well as desiccants, defoliants, and other pesticides, where an oil concentrate adjuvant is recommended. Use caution when applying with herbicides. Methylated Seed Oil may improve the effectiveness of the spray mixture. If mixture has not been used before, it is recommended that small test-areas be treated before undertaking large-scale application.

MUNICIPAL, NON-CROPLAND, ORNAMENTAL, RIGHTS- OF-WAY AND OTHER USES. THIS PRODUCT CANNOT BE USED FOR AQUATIC APPLICATIONS. NOTE: READ AND FOLLOW LABEL DIRECTIONS AND PRECAUTION STATEMENTS FOR PRODUCTS USED IN THE SPRAY MIX. The addition of HARRELL’S HERBICIDE ACTIVATOR to a tank mix should always follow the review of herbicide(s) labels and their procedures, rates and application requirements. Before using HARRELL’S HERBICIDE ACTIVATOR, it is recommended that the user be familiar with or conduct a field test to check for phytotoxicity for the herbicide combination. USE RATES: Use 4 - 5 quarts per 100 gallons of spray solution for phenoxys. Use 5 - 10 quarts per 100 gallons of spray solution for Manage ® , Image ® and Glyphosate applications in 10 - 50 gallons of spray solution per acre. Use higher rates in higher water volumes.
