My thanks go to Thomas Wegmann, secretary of CENELEC TC209, for the above table. Readers will be aware of the standards comment group, which I established some years ago, and those who were members will have noted the lack of requests from me. The BSI introduced Direct access to contributors who, by registering their interest, are able to receive invites to comment direct from BSI and not through me. Unfortunately, this has lost all my contributors. Having said that, any comments made are passed to me.
because BSI need more committee members across the audio and video industry. In addition to my normal work here, I am a member of EPL/100 which includes just about everything you can think of to do with audio and video and even eye-wear displays, connectors and power supplies.

The above reference takes you to BSI standards development where you can register and explore the website. Remember you are under no obligation. If you would be willing or would like to talk with me about this, I can be contacted at dave@hodges.co.com .
So, I have a plea and a request from BSI.
I appreciated the time people used to take in giving me their views on existing and new standards. This not only helps me to include other people’s thoughts and practices that otherwise may have been missed, but also gives me more confidence to argue what seems right during international meetings. So, I give you a web reference below which will start you on the way to becoming a standards’ commenter and
