Career Guide

INCREASE YOUR INCOME We want you to succeed and we’re passionate about finding ways to create win/win scenarios for our team. YOU are in charge of your career and we provide ample opportunity for growth. It’s up to you to determine what you do with those opportunities!

Skills

Our positions and pay scale are based on a skill-based matrix where raises and bonuses are determined by learning new skills associated with the next level of career progression. If you’d like to keep learning and growing simply study the matrix and identify which skills you need in order to get that next bump up! Once you identify your next steps, be sure to remind your leaders of what you need to learn. The more responsibility you take for your career path, the more quickly you go!

Certifications

We value learning and education. Anyone at High Prairie can engage in additional training and learning programs at any time. We have several pre-determined courses and certifications with the associated value of those certifications if you pass. In addition, you are encouraged to find courses related to your role that would help grow you. If you find something that would benefit both you and the company, share it with the HR team and we’ll determine how we can reward you for your efforts. High Prairie both offers incentives for getting certifications and pays for several types of courses/trainings for those who are driven enough to request those opportunities. It is up to you to choose if you’d like to take further courses or certifications. Bring your ideas to your manager! If it’s related, we’ll pay you for it! The quickest way to increase your income is to capitalize on the opportunity of more hours during the busy part of the year. We’ve learning that the most common issue for people struggling with their income is their attendance. The average install team members work 1900 to 2000 regular hours a year and 200 to 300 overtime hours. The average maintenance team members work 1800 regular hours a year and 160 overtime hours. (There is more opportunity here!)
