JOB PURPOSE Why does the job exist? To lead and be accountable for the development and delivery of a number of strategic and technical services across
Surrey Police & Sussex Police, with strategic oversight for East Sussex Fire & Rescue Services.
To lead and be accountable for: • The development and delivery of property strategies in line with business needs. • The delivery of a high quality, innovative and consistent service to customers, in-line with clearly defined service specifications and in accordance with service level agreements (SLA) and KPI’s where appropriate across all respective organisations.
• Develop and ensure compliance with organisational and departmental policies and procedures and to successfully comply with all statutory requirements specified in the delivery of services. • For the proactive and professional leadership of teams involved in the delivery of specified estate led services. • For all aspects of financial management, the ongoing and regular review of services and introduction of innovation and efficiencies. • Provide a high level of technical and commercial acumen in regard to real estate management including maximising opportunities and saving costs across all respective organisations.
