The time that each item collects is a visceral relationship to its previous owners and the home i t once occupied.By curat ing objects revolving around my late father, I have been able to make memories tact i le once again. Relat ing these memories to heirlooms has al lowed me to conf irm a sense of ident i ty in my fami ly’s midwestern roots.
