TEAM NOTES

SERVICE, GROWTH AND GOOD WORKS FROM GARY SASSER

One of the things I know for sure about our team is that we have associates who are committed to helping others. You’ve made that abundantly clear with your Team Up Community Challenge efforts, and I'm proud to see how that has grown through the years. What we now know as the Team Up Community Challenge began in 2011 as a way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Since that time, you’ve found an untold number of ways to lift up the communities we serve. Last year alone, you nearly doubled the total hours of community service that you completed in 2023. It was also exciting to see us engage our customers even more with last year’s projects. They see the impact we’re making together, and as a result, they’re getting involved. I’m excited to see what the future

holds for these types of partnerships. Those successes all go back to the type of people we have at Averitt. We are forged together as one to help others in need. And your efforts continue to be a win-win, because those hours are counted as part of our annual matching contribution to support the good works of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I’ve already seen some of the unique ways you’re serving in 2025. I’m confident you’ll continue finding many more opportunities to make a difference throughout the year, and I look forward to seeing us build on our culture of teamwork and showing what it means to be part of the Averitt team!
