Miami Associates Share The Love with Sheridan House For years, our Miami team has built a strong relationship with Sheridan House Ministries. In 2024, they continued their tradition of service with even greater participation and energy. The group’s connection with Sheridan House goes back several years, with events like the annual Thanksgiving Blessings food drive, Christmas Bazaar, and back-to-school supply collection becoming staples on its calendar. Last year, Miami associates and their families came together in their largest turnout yet, with volunteers showing up to load groceries, offer support and share a little hope with families in need. “We love working with Sheridan House,” says transportation specialist BARBARA MESSINA . “It’s a tradition for us. Every time we volunteer, it puts things into perspective – it’s about more than just the holidays; it’s about helping others in their moment of need.” The event was especially meaningful for another transportation specialist, MARC PRIMACK , who attended alongside his family for the first time. “He had never experienced anything like this before,” Barbara shares. “His wife was so excited and immediately said, ‘I want to do more!’ That’s what makes this event so special – it brings us closer as a team and inspires others to get involved.” One particularly touching moment came when an associate brought her BUILDING COMMUNITY TOGETHER

daughter to volunteer. Years ago, she had been part of a Sheridan House program, making the opportunity to give back all the more meaningful. “It was emotional to see her connect with the young mothers we were helping,” Barbara says. “It really opened her eyes to how impactful these events are.” By partnering with organizations like Sheridan House, the Miami team continues to prove that when we come together as one family, we can make a real difference in the communities we serve.
