How to conduct a grounding
Grounding is a simple exercise and there are a few different ways to do it. As long as you ground yourself with intention, you are doing it correctly.
To ground yourself, you can stand on grass, the sand, or your lounge room floor. You don’t even need to be standing to ground yourself. You could by lying in bed or sitting on the lounge chair. It’s all about your intention. We all have busy lives and sometimes we keep forgetting or don’t have a chance to go out and stand on the earth and connect. Rather than feel guilty or tell yourself you’ll get around to grounding yourself on the weekend, you can do it right now from wherever you are.
Imagine that there are roots growing out of your feet and see or feel these roots from your feet going deep down into the centre of the earth, like the roots of a tree. Then to anchor yourself, imagine the roots wrapping around a large crystal of your choice. Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe out, feel the energy from your head and the upper part of your body sinking down your body and out of your feet
