After encountering a near death experience and subsequent spiritual healing journey, I was able to communicate with spirits. I now use this gift to help others to heal at an emotional, physical and spiritual level via Reiki sessions. I run my own business called Reiki Restore. In 2011, I went through one of the darkest periods of my life. I was living in my car, bankrupt, and overwhelmed by despair, feeling as though I had lost the will to go on. On June 18th, 2011, I made the decision to end my life, which resulted in my heart stopping. Local police on patrol found me unconscious in my car, barely breathing, and called for an ambulance. On the way to the hospital, my heart flatlined, and paramedics defibrillated me twice without success. Although my heart had stopped, I was fully aware - l could hear the paramedics speaking beside me and even felt the defibrillations.
