cont. from page U1 rinthians 10:16.) Sharing Christ symbolically at the Lord’s Table or in conversation on the street and in the home is an ingredient of spirit ual cement and binds together par ticipants. We have an urgent need for deep, meaningful, honest rela tionships with individual Christians between Sundays. The fourth ingredient of spiritual cement is “prayers,” which refers here to group prayers. Mid-week prayer meetings of churches need to provide many small prayer groups and let the prayer meeting be a meeting for prayer. Church members that pray in small groups regularly are spiritually drawn to each other in a relationship of growing under standing and mutual appreciation. Christians of New Testament days lived and served in an atmosphere of prayer; they made no decisions with out prayer. These four ingredients of spiritual cement are to be given constant at tention as though they were one’s daily business, for we are to “ con tinue stedfastly” in them. If you de sire deeper and more meaningful re lationships with fellow believers, the child Jesus, but in no sense is she the mother of God. She was a sinner, who was saved through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ even as are all other saved sinners. Protestants repudiate the concept of Purgatory as being totally unscriptural. Living believers are not to pray that their loved ones may be delivered from Purgatory, nor are they to give to the church in order to shorten the sentence of loved ones who supposed ly have gone to Purgatory to do penance. Protestants repudiate the dreadful teaching that at the Com munion Service, when the bread and the cup are blessed, that they actual ly become the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We hold that it is purely a commenmorative, sym bolic service. These are some of the things with which we heartily differ from our Catholic friends. The idea of these Protestant defecters who would try to get the great Protestant churches back under the Catholic fold is totally abhorrent to every right- thinking Pr o te s tan t . The World Council of Churches should be total ly repudiated by Protestant minis ters everywhere. Its support along with support of the National Coun cil of Churches, should be stopped in its entirety and these leaders should be exposed for what they are, wolves in sheep’s clothing. take Acts 2:42 seriously.
