A Surprising Twist to the Harris-Trump Election

ANCHOR That means you predict 2022 will be a “repeat” of 2015… 7 years ago? GREG Yes. Take a look… 2015 was the year the market topped out. The first year the market notched a negative return since the financial crisis. In fact, that was the year the Chinese market topped out as well… and it’s never recovered. But the cycle runs back even further than that. Ask yourself this… What happened 7 years PRIOR to 2015? ANCHOR 2008. GREG Yep… and I think we all remember what happened that year. The financial crisis caused the biggest market crash since the dot-com bust. In other words… 2008… like 2015… and what I’m predicting for 2022… was a year when the market TOPPED OUT. ANCHOR Got it. And how far back can this 7-year cycle go? GREG Well, do the math yourself. 7 years PRIOR to 2008, remember what happened to the market? ANCHOR 2001. The year of the dot-com crash. GREG Bottom-line: The 7-year cycle is real. But you asked about the 90-year cycle… And that’s where it gets even spookier. Earlier, we talked about

GREG Go back 90 years from 2022… and what do you get? 1932. … 2022 will be a “reversal” of the 1932 bottom. In other words… 2022 will be an UPSIDE-DOWN reflection of 1932. So look at the stock market during the worst of the Great Depression… flip it around… and what do you get? ANCHOR A top in the market. Holy smokes… GREG In my entire two-decade career, I’ve never seen more evidence come together at the same moment to suggest a market crash. ANCHOR How far back can this 90-year cycle go? GREG Do the math, Tom… Remember how I called the bottom in 2023 using the 90-year cycle… going back to 1933? Well… I didn’t stop there. 90 years back from 1933 was… what? ANCHOR 1843. Did something big happen that year? GREG Only a historian would know this… but the United States saw a massive panic in 1837 which lasted all the way to 1843. A major bottom.

And you’re going to love this, Tom… Guess what caused the Panic of 1837? ANCHOR No clue. GREG Inflation!

Jimmy Carter. And I showed you how the “reversal” of the market decline that occurred during his presidency pointed to the boom that occurred during Bill Clinton’s second term. Well, I used something similar in 2022. Take a look…
