Citrus in many ways was what South Lake was known for.

A tower was built just to see the endless rows of orange trees. Today, the tower still stands, but many of the treetops have now been replaced with rooftops. This community has seen a lot of change since the great freeze of the late 80's. The changes won’t be stopping anytime soon.

So, what will South Lake be known for now? What will the next 30 years bring us?
