Build-up of tension from stress or overuse, and muscle pain from poor posture can also contribute to regular pain. RUNNER’S STEP Stand in front of a box or step that is below the level of the knee. Step up onto the box and bring the opposite leg up towards your chest. Lower your leg down in a controlled manner. Repeat 6-10 times, alternating legs.

Here is a little background information on our newest addition to the practice- Rachael was born and raised in Pennsylvania where she attended Slippery Rock University and earned herDoctorateofPhysicalTherapy.She

Ashley obtained her A.A.S. Physical TherapistAssistantdegree inMayof 2018 from Edison State Community College in Piqua, Ohio. She has a huge passion for Physical Therapy and is thrilled to be able to get to use the knowledge and skills she’s acquired to be a great part of someone’s healing process. Shefirst learnedshewanted tobecomeaPTAafterhergrandpawasdiagnosed withALS in2015.Shewatchedheruncle,who isaPTA,helphimgetaround the houseand listened to thewayheexplainedeachobstacle tohim.Sheknewafter that moment she wanted to be helping people like that for the rest of her life. Ashley married her husband, Mason, in August of 2018 and after living in Tennessee for a few months they decided to begin a new adventure on the West Coast. Ashley loves hiking with her husband, singing, doing Zumba, and meeting new people.

combined her love of science and her passion for helping people into a career in physical therapy. She was then drawn to Utah for its incredible mountains and active lifestyle. She enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and exploring everything the West has to offer.
