Fine Arts ArtBeat Spring 2025

Dear Friends,

Art in Irvine is ever expanding with opportunities for art lovers to get involved in classes, programs, exhibitions, events, and more! The City of Irvine Public Arts Master Plan was approved by City Council at the November 12, 2024 meeting, providing a road map for the arts in Irvine. The plan can be read here: cityofirvine.org/pamp. New class offerings at the Irvine Fine Arts Center for children and teens can be found on pages 16–17, and studio programs for adults can be found on pages 18–21. Be sure to check out pages 6–15 to learn about compelling exhibitions planned for spring and mark your calendar to attend exhibition enhancements and opening receptions. The annual Studio Arts Festival is just around the corner! Save the date to attend on Saturday, June 7, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. at Heritage Community Park. The event showcases local and regional artists and their original and unique handcrafted works of art for sale in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, painting, photography, fiber, glass, and more. Applications for artist vendors are open through March 1. Stay connected and be notified of upcoming exhibitions, vendor, and program registration opportunities by joining our mailing list at cityofirvine.org/arts or follow us on Instagram @irvinefinearts .

Creatively yours,

Laura Murphy Irvine Fine Arts Center Supervisor
