Place the arm on the opposite side of which you would like to stretch through it, so that it is positioned like a sling or a seatbelt. Hold and take a deep breath, and as you breathe out, pull down on the strap. Hold for about 30 seconds if able and relax. Repeat throughout the day to help mobilize the first rib.
