Top-level links with industry Employers want to recruit graduates who have real- world work experience, so many of our courses offer a placement opportunity as part of your degree. Professional bodies accredit around 150 of our courses, and NTU is in the top ten for the number of students taking year-long placements (HESA 2017/18). Through our national and international relationships with leading law firms, barristers’ chambers and the judiciary, our courses will prepare you for modern legal practice. It’s never too early to think about life after graduation – and at NTU, that planning starts as soon as your studies begin. Our Employability team and academic tutors will support you throughout your time at the University, introducing you to specialist careers consultants who can offer advice on placements and work experience. They’ll also help you to plan out your career path, enhance your CV, complete job applications, and master your interview techniques.
