Tips for your application Subtitle
CV tips
Think about the company you are applying for- this could be reflected in your CV. Document any work experience that you might have in timeline order. If you don’t have any work experience, you could include anything that you do in or out of school, how you have helped your community, any projects or awards you have achieved or what makes you uniquely you. A CV layout is important too, it needs to be easy to read!
Interview & skills day tips Make sure your personality comes across! Think about your body language and appearance. Have some engaging questions ready, for example, you could ask about the interviewer’s favourite thing about Ideagen. Make sure you really understand the role and its daily responsibilities as well as doing your research on the company. Be organised – always try to arrive ahead of time and remain professional from start to finish and wear what makes you feel comfortable!
Video interview tips
Make sure you are comfortable and are in a quiet environment where you will not be disturbed. Look professional at least from the waist up! Look into the camera and before starting make sure your camera is working correctly.
